  RS1 Solar Radiation Shield   $65   Qty:

Recommended for improved temperature and RH measurement accuracy in locations exposed to solar radiation or reflected heat. Also protects the HOBO Pro’s humidity sensor from rain. 

Ideal for use with HOBO Pro loggers and TMC temperature sensors with the HOBO H8 Outdoor/Industrial 4-Channel External. (This shield is not a weatherproof barrier, and is not intended to protect indoor loggers for outdoor use.)

Features

  • Multi-plate construction for maximum airflow

  • Mounting bracket attaches to vertical surface or poles 1" to 1.25" (25 mm to 31 mm) outside diameter; U-bolts included

  • HOBO H8 Pro series loggers can be mounted inside

  • Enclosure can be easily opened for offloading data

  • Includes clips for mounting TMC temperature sensor

  • Dimensions: 6.0"H x 8.4"W x 7.4"D (152 mm x 213 mm x 188 mm)

Provides convenient mounting and rain protection for the RH sensor for the HOBO Pro Temp/RH logger (P/N H08-032-08).

Features

  • Mounting bracket attaches to vertical surface or poles 1" to 1.3" (25 mm to 33 mm) outside diameter; U-bolt included
  • Wing nuts for easy logger removal
  • Dimensions: cap is 4.5"D x 2"H (114 mm x 51 mm)
  • Some assembly required

The Submersible Case is a rugged waterproof enclosure constructed of polypropylene and featuring a stainless-steel reinforced bail for reliable case attachment. The case will hold one HOBO data logger which is held securely in place with a foam disk. 

Submersible Case Features

  • Physical dimensions 3" diameter x 4.5" long and 3.5 oz
  • Depth rating 100 feet
  • May be used in salt or fresh water 0° to +50°C (+32° to +122°F)
  • Buoyancy: 288g (10oz)
  • Available in two colors:
         - SUBC2-WH - white case to minimize solar radiation effects
         - SUBC2-GR - dark gray case for low visibility
  • Foam disk, hook and loop tape, desiccant, O-ring, and lubricant included
